I just wanted to add a quick note that Desert Free Press has two brand new categories for news stories.
The first is Finance. This category is geared more towards personal finance rather than the everyday news of stocks, bonds, and Wall Street. You can find plenty of that type of news at Bloomberg.com.
This is intended to help showcase good articles about tips and tricks that will help you out in your own life. Also, I wanted to save links to stories about people who are doing remarkable things in their own communities.
The second category is Cultural Heritage. I was at a loss for a while about what to name this new category. I wanted to capture stories that highlight significant and maybe less well-known historical events. Things that happened in the past that were worth passing on to the future.
That is the meaning of the phrase cultural heritage. These are stories and descriptions of historical happenings which are intended to be educational and worthy of being passed along.
